July 3 (SeeNews) - The gross written premiums (GWPs) of insurance companies operating in Kosovo rose 15% year-on-year to 34.2 million euro ($37.2 million) in May, central bank data showed.
The combined net profit of Kosovo insurers totalled 2.3 million euro at the end of May, up from 400,000 euro a year earlier, according to data published by the central bank last week.
The assets held by Kosovo insurance companies increased to 290 million euro at the end of May, from 249 million euro at the end of the same month in 2022.
