KJK Balkan Holding sells 10% stake in TeraPlast for 66.9 mln lei (14 mln euro)

November 20 (SeeNews) - Luxembourg-incorporated investment fund KJK Balkan Holding has exited the shareholding structure of Romanian manufacturer of PVC pipes and fittings TeraPlast [BSE:TRP] after selling its 10% stake for 66.86 million lei ($16 million/ 14 million euro), bourse data showed.

KJK Balkan Holding sold a 1.4% stake in TeraPlast for 9.869 million lei on November 17, TeraPlast said in a statement filled with the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, on Thursday. The fund sold 25,144,679 million shares for a price of 0.392 lei per unit.

On November 12, KJK sold an 8.6% stake in TeraPlast for 57 million lei, earlier data from BVB showed. The fund then sold 150 million shares at 0.38 lei apiece.

Prior to the transaction, the fund held a 10% stake in TeraPlast SA.

Most recent data from the BVB showed that TeraPlast's main shareholder is Dorel Goia, with 46.8% of shares, followed by NN Pensii with 10.9%.

TeraPlast's shares traded 1.45% higher at 0.4210 lei as at 0953 CET on Friday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

KJK Fund II SICAV-SIF Balkan is an equity fund incorporated in Luxembourg, whose objective is to build a diversified portfolio of private and public small and medium-sized companies in the Balkan countries, focusing on Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia, according data published on its website.
