May 24 (SeeNews) - Slovenian financial group KD Group [LJE:KDHR] shares closed 190.6% higher at 34.0 euro ($39.9) on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Thursday, after the company announced late on Wednesday that it has sold a 100% stake in insurance company Adriatic Slovenica.
On Wednesday, KD Group said it has sold Adriatic Slovenica to Generali CEE Holding, part of Italy's Generali Group, for 245 million euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, rose by 0.53% to 905.35 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index increased by 0.43%.
Slovenian reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] fell the most among blue chips, closing 1.58% lower at 18.7 euro.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE fell to 1.4 million euro on Thursday from 3.5 million euro on Wednesday.
White goods manufacturer Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] generated the day's largest turnover, of 497,750 euro.
