The retailer revamped the stores' interiors to expand the range of goods, improve energy efficiency and modernise the tenant areas as part of its One Stop Shopping concept, Kaufland Bulgaria said in a press release.

Kaufland also installed self-service checkouts at the Dobrich store, following their implementation in the Ruse one last year.

The upgrades are aimed at improving the overall customer experience and reducing the company's environmental impact.

Kaufland Bulgaria, which generates an annual turnover of over 2 billion levs, operates 66 hypermarkets in 35 cities across the country, the statement added.
