TIRANA (Albania), July 10 (SeeNews) – A tie-up led by Italian company Friulana Bitumi has won a 14.4 million euro ($17.7 million) contract for the construction of sewerage systems in Albania, a contract award notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated on Tuesday.
The tender for the construction of sewerage systems in the towns of Vlora, Ksamil, Kavaja and Shengjin, attracted a total of 11 bidders, the notice in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.
The duration of contract is 24 months.
The contracting authority is the European Union, represented by the European Commission, on behalf of and for the account of the beneficiary country.
