February 3 (SeeNews) - Israeli e-commerce marketing platform developer Yotpo acquired Bulgaria-based developer of SMS marketing solutionsSMSBump on January 29, the Bulgarian company said.
"I firmly believe that having such a future-ready company behind our back will give us all the necessary means to accelerate product innovation and cement SMSBump as a global leader in the field of text and conversational marketing," SMSBump co-founder Mihail Stoychev said in a statement published last week.

The deal will help Yotpo act as a one-stop shop for integrated solutions for reviews, visual user-generated content (UGC), loyalty, referrals, and SMS, Yotpo CEO Tomer Tagrin said in a separate statement last week.
Sofia-headquartered SMSBump, established in 2018, provides global reach for SMS messages, as well as an entire SMS marketing strategies for companies such as Canada-based Shopify and US's BigCommerce, according to data published on its LinkedIn profile.
