August 23 (SeeNews) - Iran is to open in Belgrade its economic and trade center for the Balkans and Southeast Europe in the next two months, the Serbian trade ministry said after a meeting with Iran's ambassador to Serbia, Majid Fahim Pour.
The ambassador also informed the ministry of the interest of certain representatives of Iran's financial sector to acquire a bank in Serbia in order to establish payment transactions between the two countries and thereby facilitate business ties between Iran and Serbia, the ministry added in its press release on Monday.

Last year the two countries set up the Serbian-Iranian Chamber of Business to boost cooperation between the two countries.
