June 14 (SeeNews) - Croatian top insurer Croatia Osiguranje Group [ZSE:CROS2] said on Tuesday its net profit rose 9% on the year in the first four months of this year, reaching 164 million kuna ($23 million/22 million euro).
Croatia Osiguranje maintained its leading position on the Croatian insurance market in terms of premium income growth and market share in the first four months of 2022 compared to the same period of last year, the company said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
Croatia Osiguranje's premium revenue rose 7.2% on the year to 1.216 billion kuna in the period under review, faster then the overall local market growth of 5.6%.
Its market share rose to 28.7% from 28.2% in the first four months of last year.
Croatia Osiguranje's ordinary shares [ZSE:CROS] last traded on the ZSE on June 10, ending 1.47% lower at 6,700 kuna.
The insurer's preference shares [ZSE:CROS2] last traded on April 1, closing flat at 7,100 kuna.
