June 29 (SeeNews) - The net sales of Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) in Croatia declined by 27% on the year to 254 million Swedish crowns ($27 million/24 million euro) in the first half of fiscal year 2020, which started on December 1, 2019, the Swedish fashion retailer said.
In local currency terms, H&M’s net sales in Croatia fell by 27% also in the December-May period, the company said in an interim financial report on Friday.
H&M operated a total of 16 stores in the Adriatic country at the end of May.
In Southeast Europe, H&M is also present in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey and Bulgaria.
