May 12 (SeeNews) - Croatian brewery Karlovacka Pivovara, owned by Dutch Heineken, said late on Friday it would invest 2.6 million euro ($4.0 million) in a project for capacity increase. "Karlovacka pivovara has started a project of old energy plant demolition in order to built two new and plant basis for 6 other fermentors, with the intention to meet market demand in the longterm," the brewery said in a statement. The two new tanks will have 4,400 hectolitre capacity each which will increase brewery’s fermentation capacity by 20,000 hectolitre per month.
