March 13 (SeeNews) - China-based Hainan Airlines will increase the number of flights between the capitals of Beijing and Belgrade to twice per week, regional media reported.
The company plans to start operating the line on Tuesdays as of April 18, in addition to the existing Saturday flights, news portal EX-YU Aviation said.
Serbia became the first country in the region to have a direct flight to China in July when Hainan Airlines launched direct flights between Belgrade and Beijing.
Flag carrier Air Serbia launched direct flights between Belgrade and Tianjin, in northeastern China, in December, and plans to add a service to Beijing and Shanghai later this year.
