The new country manager will focus on consolidating the company's presence on the market, Free Now said in a press release. Zipfel will also work to enhance the passengers' experience when moving freely around the city, establishing Free Now as a provider of easy to use and safe mobility options for Romanians in the nine cities in the country where the company is present.
Zipfel joined Free Now almost three years ago, in a management position where he was responsible for the commercial finance department.
Free Now is a multi-mobility platform backed by BMW Group and Daimler AG. Next to ride hailing, Free Now also offers micro-mobility services such as e-scooters, e-bikes, e-Mopeds as well as car sharing.
The platform serves 50 million users in 16 markets and more than 150 cities. Free Now employs 1,900 employees in around 38 offices across the world.
