August 31 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Serbia in the first seven months of 2021 rose 35.8% year-on-year to 393,773, statistical office data showed.The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in Serbia grew 43.8% to 1,144,625 in the first seven months.In July alone, a total of 129,999 foreign tourists visited Serbia, up from only 24,325 in July 2020.Bosnia and Herzegovina was Serbia's biggest feeder market in the first seven months of 2021, with 51,338 tourists, up 85.0% on the year. Citizens of the Russian Federation followed, with a total of 31,442 visits, up 150.2%. Visitors from Montenegro came third, up 71.4% to 29,933.The number of domestic tourists increased by 37.3% on the year to 940,127 in the first seven months of 2021, taking the total number of tourists to 1,333,900, up 36.9%.
