The location strengthens the position of World Class Romania in southern Bucharest, an urban area with a high population density, where new residential projects are being developed, it added.
"World Class Eroii Revoluţiei is a new opportunity to make our health and fitness services accessible to more and more Romanians," World Class Romania CEO Kent Orrgren said.
According to Eurostat data quoted by World Class, only 7.5% of Romanians do at least two and a half hours per week. This percentage puts Romania on the last place in Europe, in a highly dominated top of the Nordic countries - Finland is the first with 53% of its population doing sports weekly.
In September, World Class Romania said it aims to grow turnover by 20% to 30 million euro ($34.8 million) in 2018.
World Class Romania reported revenue of nearly 25 million euro in 2017, up by an annual 34.7%. Also, sales of nutritional supplements surged by a record annual 147% in 2017 and the demand for personal coach sessions increased significantly.
World Class Romania currently has 31 centers across the country and 60,000 members.
