September 16 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Romania stood at 3.121 billion euro ($3.463 billion) in the first seven months of 2024, down from 3.967 billion euro in the same period of last year, with the country recording a current account deficit of 15.178 billion euro at the end of July, compared with a gap of 11.328 billion euro a year earlier, the central bank said, citing provisional data.
