February 2 (SeeNews) - Romania's European funds ministry said on Tuesday that over 41,000 jobs were created in the country during the 2007-2015 period with the help of EU funds absorbed by Romania. "[...] In the nine years since their implementation in Romania, European funds were an important source of investment, namely the basis for the creation of 41,000 jobs, providing support for 5,000 businesses and a big help for the development and the modernisation of 400 medical and educational institutions," European funds minister Aura Raducu said during an annual meeting with European Commission officials on EU funds absorption.
