The grant complements the World Bank’s Fostering and Leveraging Opportunities for Water Security (FLOWS) programme for Kosovo, which aims to strengthen water management capacities in the country and improve water security in the Morava e Bices river basin, Murati said, as seen in a government social media video.
For this programme, The World Bank is extending Kosovo a 25.1 million euro loan with a 25 years maturity period with a relief period of five years, the lender has said.
The WBIF grant aims to strengthen financial support for the initiative, Murati noted.
