Don Don plans buyout bid for Serbian bakery Zitopek

May 17 (SeeNews) - Serbian bakery Don Don, part of Slovenian industrial baked goods maker Don Don Group, said on Friday it plans to launch a buyout bid for the remaining 49.20% of local peer Zitopek [BEL:ZTPK] it does not already own.

Belgrade-based Don Don will act together with Madrid-based BB Global Investing Holding SL, Don Don said in a filing with the Belgrade bourse.

Further details were not provided.

Don Don now owns 125,922 Zitopek shares and plans to buy the remaining 121,977 shares from smaller shareholders, the statement read.

The buyout bid for Nis-based Zitopek will be launched within 15 days.

Zitopek's shares closed down 0.3% to 8.43 dinars on the Belgrade bourse on Thursday.
