Croatia's Luka Ploce to skip dividend payment

June 19 (SeeNews) - Croatian Adriatic port operator Luka Ploce [ZSE:LKPC] said its shareholders decided on Wednesday to skip dividend payment this year.

The company’s net profit of 10.3 million euro ($11.1 million) for 2023 will be retained, the company said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse following its annual shareholder’ meeting.

Earlier this month, Croatian pension fund manager PBZ Croatia Osiguranje, a minority shareholder in Luka Ploce, requested a dividend payment of 6.50 euro per share of the port operator's profit for last year.

Last year, the company's shareholders decided to retain the net profit of 6.6 million euro for 2022.

The company’s shares traded 2.82% lower to 138 euro on Wednesday by 1308 local time.

PBZ Croatia Osiguranje is its third largest shareholder, with a share of 8.22% according to bourse data.
