This will be Infobip's third campus, following those in the Croatian city of Vodnjan and the capital Zagreb, and will create 500 new jobs, news provider Indikator.ba reported on Monday.

In February, Sarajevo's Centar municipality said that the Bosnian arm of Infobip paid 500,000 marka ($310,000/256,000 euro) to buy four plots of land intended for the construction of residential and office buildings in the future Sip business zone in the municipality. According to Indikator.ba, the total area of the campus is 4,230 square metres.

Sarajevo's Centar municipality said earlier that it plans to develop an IT park in the Sip business zone which covers an area of 82,700 square metres some 9 km from Sarajevo airport.

Infobip serves and partners with leading mobile operators, messaging apps, banks, social networks, tech companies, and aggregators. Established in 2006 in Vodnjan, it has expanded to include over 65 offices on six continents, with the capacity to reach more than seven billion mobile devices and ‘things’ in more than 190 countries connected directly to over 650 telecom networks.
