Hrvatski Telekom repurchased 2,288 shares on Monday and 1,059 shares on Tuesday, as part of a programme to buy own shares announced in April 2021, the company said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).

It has said earlier that it plans to buy back up to three million of its own shares by 2026 under the programme that aims to withdraw stocks that have no nominal value without reducing the share capital. It also said back then it will offer some of the repurchased shares to its employees.

The company’s share capital totals 1.36 billion euro ($1.46 billion) divided into 78 million shares with no par value.

The telco's shares traded 1.0% lower at 29.70 euro on Wednesday by 1228 local time on the ZSE.
