January 2 (SeeNews) - Croatian power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] said on Wednesday it has sold its interest in its unit Dalekovod Professio - a company active in construction of wind farms, for 115 million kuna ($17.7 million/15.5 million euro). Part of the proceeds of the sale will be used to repay debt to creditors as per pre-bankruptcy proceedings, while the remainder will be used to support financial and operational restructuring and improve cash flow, the company said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE). Following news of the sale, Dalekovod's share price rose to 8.56 kuna by 11:02 CET on Wednesday, up by 5.94% from the previous close following news of the sale, ZSE data showed.
