July 3 (SeeNews) - Croatian postal operator Hrvatska Posta [ZSE:HP] has invested some 50 million euro ($56.4 million) in the construction of a new sorting centre near Velika Gorica, south of Zagreb, it said.
Hrvatska Posta is implementing a major investment cycle in recent years, as the construction of the new facility is the largest capital investment in its history, the postal operator said in a press release last week.
In 2017, when the project was launched, local media reported that the new facility would be built by a tie-up between local company Presoflex and Slovenian-based GH Holding.
The total area of the sorting center is 38,200 square metres.
Apart from the investment, Hrvatska Posta is also working on a new visual identity. The company redesigned its logo which will first be displayed in the busiest post offices and part of its fleet.
