Croatian insurers' premiums paid up 9.8% y/y in Jan-Apr

Non-life premiums reached 503 million euro in the January-April period, up 11.45% on the year, Croatia's financial regulator, Hanfa, said in a monthly data release.

Life premiums rose 2.34% to 104.4 million euro.

There were 15 insurers registered in the Adriatic country of 3.89 million people at the end of April.

As of the beginning of 2023, Hanfa started publishing figures on premiums paid instead of gross written premiums (GWP).
