December 22 (SeeNews) - The gross written premiums (GWP) of Croatia-based insurers rose 11.87% year-on-year in the eleven months through November, reaching 10.744 billion kuna ($1.6 billion/1.4 billion euro), the Croatian Insurance Bureau said on Wednesday.
Non-life premiums increased by 12.65% on the year to 8.122 billion kuna in the January-November period, the Insurance Bureau, an association of Croatia-based insurers, said in a statement.
Life premiums went up 9.51% year-on-year in the review period, reaching 2.622 billion kuna.
There were 15 insurers registered in the Adriatic country of 4.2 million people at the end of November.
