October 10 (SeeNews) - The gross written premiums (GWP) of Croatia-based insurers rose 7.9% on the year in the first nine months of 2022, reaching 9.7 billion kuna ($1.02 billion/1.05 billion euro), data of the Croatian Insurance Bureau showed on Monday.
Non-life premiums increased by 10.65% on the year to 7.55 billion kuna in the January-September period, the Insurance Bureau, an association of Croatia-based insurers, said in a monthly report.
Life premiums dipped 0.62% year-on-year to 2.18 billion kuna in the review period.
There were 15 insurers registered in the Adriatic country of 3.89 million people last month.
