November 11 (SeeNews) - The gross written premiums (GWP) of Croatia-based insurers rose 7.6% on the year in the first 10 months of 2022, reaching 10.6 billion kuna ($1.4 billion/1.4 billion euro), data of the Croatian Insurance Bureau showed on Friday.
Non-life premiums increased by 10.68% on the year to 8.29 billion kuna in the January-October period, the Insurance Bureau, an association of Croatia-based insurers, said in a monthly report.
Life premiums declined 1.91% year-on-year to 2.36 billion kuna in the review period.
There were 15 insurers registered in the Adriatic country of 3.89 million people last month.
