May 11 (SeeNews) - The gross written premiums (GWP) of Croatia-based insurers rose 6.78% on the year in the first four months of 2022, reaching 4.564 billion kuna ($636 million/605 million euro), data of the Croatian Insurance Bureau showed on Wednesday.
Non-life premiums increased by 9.89% on the year to 3.507 billion kuna in the January-April period, the Insurance Bureau, an association of Croatia-based insurers, said in a monthly report.
Life premiums fell 2.38% year-on-year to 1.057 billion kuna in the review period.
There were 15 insurers registered in the Adriatic country of 3.89 million people last month.
