October 18 (SeeNews) - Croatian business association UGP said that the entering in the commercial court registers of all changes related to the introduction of euro has to be free of charge for local businesses, as the Adriatic country prepares to join the eurozone on January 1, 2023.
“UGP considers that there are enough additional charges and unnecessary financial charges for entrepreneurs, who are already struggling with high business costs,” UGP said in a statement on Monday.
The business association said that a limited liability company with a registered capital of 20,000 kuna ($2,600/2,700 euro) will have to pay a charge of 2,500 kuna for notary services to register the conversion of its kuna-denominated capital into the euro currency.
