February 25 (SeeNews) - Croatia will ease some coronavirus restrictions starting March 1 as the number of new infections is on the decline, prime minister Andrej Plenkovic said on Thursday.
Bars and restaurants will be allowed to open for outdoor service and athletes will be allowed to train indoors if they comply with the epidemiological measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Plenkovic said in a statement.
The measures could be tightened again if the epidemiological situation worsens, Plenkovic added.
As of Thursday, Croatia has confirmed a total of 241,592 coronavirus cases, including 5,489 deaths.
