April 21 (SeeNews) - Croatia's economy ministry said on Wednesday it will grant 1.14 billion kuna ($180.7 million/150.5 million euro) to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) operating in the manufacturing sector to increase their competitiveness.
Companies can apply for grants ranging from 500,000 kuna to 7.5 million kuna from April 30 to May 31, the economy ministry said in a statement.
The state aid is intended to increase the competitiveness of the manufacturing companies by investing in their digital and green transition and is expected to help the industry mitigate the consequences of the pandemic and make the economy more resilient.
Companies will be able to apply for financing of activities that will boost their production capacity, innovations in employment processes, trainings for improving or introducing project activities, consultancy services, preparation of project and technical documentation and procurement and installation of renewable energy equipment.
