November 11 (SeeNews) - Croatia signed an agreement for a 369 million kuna ($57.4 million/48.8 million euro) EU grant, to be used to finance a project for the supply of medical and protective equipment in the fight against Covid-19, the regional development ministry said.
The project, to be financed from the EU's structural and investment funds, aims to meet the need for urgent intervention in support of Croatia's health system during the pandemic, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
Under the project, medical and protective equipment will be supplied primarily to hospitals, public health institutions, emergency medical departments, health centres, as well as social institutions, civil protection units, state inspectorates, the interior ministry, and other Croatian institutions and organisations involved in the fight against Covid-19.
