October 3 (SeeNews) - Croatia's defence ministry said on Tuesday its international tender for the supply of a multi-purpose fighter plane has attracted four bids.
Bids were filed by the representatives of Greece, Israel, Sweden and the United States, the ministry said in a statement.
A team of experts will now evaluate the offers over the next two months.
The key parameters in the selection, aside from the jets characteristics, will be an inter-state agreement, the price, and a business cooperation package.
Croatia currently owns MiG 21 jets which have been in use since the 1990s.
