September 4 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian unit of The Coca-Cola Company said on Monday that Bosko Popeskov has been appointed as CEO in charge of business operations and development on the Bulgarian market.
The focus of Popeskov's work in the first few months as CEO will be the creation of a long-term strategy for growth in Bulgaria, with an emphasis on sustainable development and portfolio development, Coca-Cola Bulgaria said in a press release.
Prior to the appointment, Popeskov was business operations manager for The Coca-Cola Company in Romania. He joined the company in 2019 after working for a decade at Procter & Gamble in Romania and Switzerland.
Popeskov's work will also involve expanding the portfolio of zero sugar products from the Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite and Schweppes brands.
He is taking over from Dora Strezova-Nikolova who was CEO of The Coca-Cola Company in Bulgaria from May 2021 until her appointment in February at the helm of the Adria regional business unit of the Croatian subsidiary of soft drinks bottler and distributor Coca-Cola HBC.
