SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 17 (SeeNews) – International TV broadcaster Central European Media Enterprises (CME) said it has appointed Pavel Stanchev CEO of its Bulgarian unit bTV Media Group to replace Vicky Politova as of February 1.
Vicky Politova, who has been part of bTV’s team since it was founded in 2000, will leave the company to pursue other interests, CME said on its website on Thursday.
Stanchev has more than 20 years of television experience in Central and Eastern Europe.
bTV Media Group was acquired by CME in 2010. The broadcaster operates the channels bTV, bTV Action, bTV Comedy, bTV Cinema, bTV Lady, RING.BG, bTV Radio Group and bTV Web.
