May 9 (SeeNews) - Chinese video surveillance solution provider Dahua Technology said on Tuesday it will open an office in Bulgarian capital Sofia - the company's first in the Balkans - in early June.
The office will serve as a regional centre for sales and marketing operations, Dahua Technology said in a statement.
"We have chosen to open in Bulgaria our first office in the Balkans, because the local market offers many opportunities. Dahua plans to make a significant investment in order to position Bulgaria as a centre of video security industry in the region," said Todor Gurgurov, business development manager at Dahua Technology Bulgaria.
In 2017, the company plans to further strengthen its position on the market by opening a showroom in Sofia, organizing roadshows and seminars, as well as offering personalized solutions to its clients.
Dahua Technology has been operating on the Bulgarian market since 2004 through two local distributors.
The company's sales in Bulgaria have doubled in 2016.
