Bulgaria's Trace Group in 71 mln euro road maintenance deal

A consortium led by Bulgarian civil engineering company Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57] signed a contract to carry out road works and maintenance in the Stara Zagora region, with an indicative budget of 139.3 million levs ($76.1 million/71.2 million euro), the group said.

The contract was awarded by the Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency, the company said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.

The consortium Poddarzhane 2022, which also includes Trace Group's subsidiary Trace BG, will handle ongoing repairs, current, preventive and winter maintenance, as well as emergency repair works.

The contract has a term of four years.

Shares in Trace Group last traded on Wednesday when they closed at 5.00 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
