August 31 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian diversified group Rodna Zemya Holding [BUL:HRZ] said that it turned a consolidated net profit excluding minority interest of 195,000 levs ($118,100/99,700 euro) in the first half of 2021, compared to a net loss of 7.65 million levs in the like period of last year.The group's operating revenue rose to 77 million levs in the first six months of this year, from 65.2 million levs in the comparable period of 2020, Rodna Zemya Holding said in an interim financial statement on Monday.The group's operating expenses also increased in the review period, to 76.7 million levs from some 73 million levs, mainly due to higher cost of goods sold.As at 13:15 CET on Tuesday, shares in Rodna Zemya Holding traded flat at 2.68 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.The group's larger members include building materials retailer Baumax, which operates under the HomeMax brand, DIY-chain operator HIT Hypermarket and meat products maker Koopdoverie Lesidren. HIT Hypermarket and Koopdoverie Lesidren were both acquired in 2019, after Rodna Zemya Holding raised 36 million levs through a capital increase.(1 euro = 1.95583 levs)
