The M1 monetary aggregate, the narrowest measure of money supply and the M3's most liquid component, added 8.5% on the year last month, reaching 128.1 billion levs, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said in a monthly monetary statistics report.
At nearly 84.5 billion levs, the volume of net foreign assets at the end of May was 1.4% higher in annual terms and 0.4 percentage points lower than the growth recorded in April.
