January 31 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian insurer Euroins intends to offer several types of insurance policies in the Netherlands, according to a notice by the Bulgarian financial regulator.
Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission has informed its Dutch peer about the company's plans, it said in a statement on Thursday.
Earlier this month, Euroins raised 8.7 million levs ($4.9 million/4.4 million euro) by increasing its capital to 41.17 million levs.
Euroins was Bulgaria's fourth largest non-life insurer by gross written premiums at the end of November 2019, according to the latest Financial Supervision Commission data. The insurer controlled a 9.7% market share with premiums of 214.1 million levs.
Euroins is part of financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH].
