Bulgaria's end-2021 jobless rate at record-low 4.8% - Employment Agency

The jobless rate registered in December was unchanged in monthly terms, while on an annual comparison basis it was 1.9 percentage points lower, the government agency said in a statement on Monday.

A total of 14,167 unemployed people found a job with the help of labour offices in December, while 21,505 people registered as unemployed.

There were 157,283 registered unemployed people at the end of December, 964 less compared to November 2021 and 28.6% fewer compared to December 2020.

There were 7,967 job vacancies registered with labour offices in December, 2,142 less on a monthly comparison basis and 395 more year-on-year.
