December 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Euroins Insurance Group (EIG), part of energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], has appointed two new CEOs and elected a new board of directors, it said on Thursday.
Kremena Pateva and Todor Danailov have taken over as EIG's new CEOs, whereas Assen Christov was elected board chairman and Irena Lalova will manage the legal department and legal operations, the company said in a press release.
Kremena Pateva has held several managerial positions at EIG, serving as director of risk management since 2016. Todor Danailov has managed the group's reinsurance business since EIG's establishment in 2007 and led Euroins' market entry into Spain.
Ivan Kostov, chief financial officer, Kaloyan Dimitrov, head of risk management and Vangel Spirov, head of compliance, have also joined the group's management.
The new board and management of EIG will continue to implement the group's strategy, focusing on improving the profitability of its companies, strengthening the management structure and restructuring key activities within Euroins Bulgaria, the company said.
Euroins Insurance Group operates in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, serving over 2 million customers across 10 countries.
