November 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] said on Monday that its consolidated net profit excluding minority interest rose to 29.2 million levs ($16.9 million/14.9 million euro) in the first three quarters of 2021 from 15.5 million levs in the same period of 2020.
With minority interest included, consolidated net profit went up to 38.6 million levs in the first nine months of 2021 from 21.2 million levs in the same period of last year, Doverie United Holding said in an interim financial statement.
Doverie United Holding's total revenue increased to 259.5 million levs in the January-September period of this year from 235.4 million levs in 2020.
The group's net banking income rose to 97.4 million levs from 77.7 million levs, while net insurance income fell to 4.7 million levs from 5.2 million levs. Net income from other business segments grew 19.9% to 39.5 million levs.
Expenses increased to 214.1 million levs from 211.8 million levs in the review period.
As at 15:45 CET on Monday, shares in Doverie United Holding changed hands 0.21% lower at 9.56 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
Doverie United Holding owns majority stakes in over 20 companies active in various sectors of the economy, including healthcare, insurance, banking, retail trade, real estate, and others.
