April 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian computer graphics developer Chaos Group, which recently merged with Germany-based real-time rendering and virtual reality software developer Enscape, said that it bought Danish 3D product visualisation platform for commerce Cylindo for an undisclosed price.
"This acquisition enables the combined companies to further build on their vision of creating a leading end-to-end 3D visualisation ecosystem. Together, Cylindo and Chaos will continue to democratise visualisation, making 3D, AR and VR content more accessible to everyone," the buyer said in a statement last week.

According to the statement, Cylindo will continue to operate as an independent brand collaborating closely with the Chaos team. All services and solutions of the acquired firm will continue to be developed and offered, while its 164 employees will continue to operate from offices in US' Boston, Denmark's Copenhagen and North Macedonia's Bitola and Skopje.
The acquisition brings Chaos' workforce to approximately 700 employees across the globe.
Cylindo, established in 2012, makes it easy to visualise and sell products through its web-based service that powers 4 quintillion product variations and 18 million monthly users. The company's technology transforms simple product data into 3D photorealistic content that can be easily leveraged anywhere: product configurators and feeds, AR/VR experiences, interactive room scenes, and other marketing channels.
Chaos, founded in 1997, is a world leader in visualisation and computer graphics, offering an ecosystem of 3D rendering, real-time visualisation and simulation software.
