January 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian healthtech startup FindMeCure said it is about to complete work on a seed funding round aimed at supporting its growth and expanding its team.
The fundraiser was led by US investment company Techstars, joined by angel investors, news outlet Capital quoted Zlatanova as saying on Tuesday.
The fresh funds are expected to support business growth in the next 18 months. The company aims to increase its market share in 2023, while seeking to identify potential investors and partners, according to the media report.
FindMeCure is dedicated to building a bridge between patients and innovative treatments. The company is developing two healthcare platforms. The first one - FindMeCure for Patients - provides information about ongoing clinical trials worldwide as well as alternative treatment approaches. The goal is to support patients in joining clinical trials or gaining access to other types of treatment.
The second platform, called Trialhub, is also in the area of clinical trials but is designed for business users. The solution facilitates finding information and planning clinical studies. The platform is currently offered in 70 countries and is used by companies conducting clinical trials such as ICON, Medpace, Novartis and Premier.
