September 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian insurer Lev Ins plans to start operations in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, the Bulgarian financial regulator said.
The Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) has notified the competent bodies in the three Baltic states about the insurance company's intentions, it said in a statement publshed on its website on Thursday.
The company first notified FSC about its intentions to expand to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia on August 5. Later, on August 31, FSC said that it halted the procedure as Lev Ins needs to file a consolidated financial report for 2020 before the procedures' recommencement.
