November 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's government said on Thursday that it will allocate 73 million levs ($44.1 million/37.3 million euro) under the EU's operational programme Human Resources Development 2014-2020 to finance new measures against the coronavirus pandemic.
The allocation of the grant funds will facilitate the provision of timely and necessary support for the Bulgarian society and businesses in the light of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases, the government said in a press release.
There were 3,938 new coronavirus cases registered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, bringing the total count to 110,536, the health ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
