SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 3 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s Food Safety Agency said that it has confirmed 23 cases of African swine fever in wild boar since the start of the hunting season on October 3.
The largest number of cases, ten, was established in Yambol region, followed by Haskovo region with four cases, the Food Safety Agency said in a statement on Monday.
Two cases were confirmed in each of the Veliko Tarnovo, Sofia and Gabrovo regions, and one in each of the regions of Pazardzhik, Stara Zagora and Montana.
