Bosnia's Gas Promet to pay higher dividend for 2023

June 20 (SeeNews) - Gas Promet [BANJ:GPIS-R-A], the operator of the natural gas transportation system in Bosnia and Herzegovina's Serb Republic, said on Thursday it will distribute a dividend of 0.036 marka ($0.020/0.018 euro) per share for 2023, slightly higher than the year before.

The company will distribute as dividend 169,776 marka from its retained earnings, it said in a bourse filing.

Gas Promet paid out a dividend of 0.0295 marka per share for 2022.

The company reaped a net profit of 526,902 marka in 2023, higher than the profit of 155,207 marka booked in 2022.

The company's shareholders approved the dividend distribution plan at a meeting held on June 5.

The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
