August 30 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda BiH [SAJ:JPESR] said on Monday that its net profit jumped to 45.3 million marka ($27.3 million/23.2 million euro) in the first half of 2021, from 15.4 million marka in the same period a year earlier.The company's first-half operating revenue edged up 1% on an annual comparison basis, reaching 532.4 million marka, while its operating costs fell 3.7% to 466.7 million marka, EPBiH said in a financial statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE).The company's other expenses and losses decreased to 24.1 million marka in the January-June period, compared to 27.1 million marka in the first six months of 2020.Elektroprivreda BiH, Bosnia's largest power utility, is based in the Federation entity. Elektroprivreda RS is the power utility of the Serb Republic.The Federation and the Serb Republic are two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina.(1 euro = 1.95583 marka)
